Engine and parts in engine compartment; visually check inspection for leaks and damage

Engine oil: change and replace oil filter

Airbag units: visually inspect for external damage

Gearbox, final drive CV joint boots: visual inspection for leaks and damage

Steering joint boots:  inspect for leaks and damage

Track rod ends: check for play, correct attachment and condition of boot/seals

Manual gearbox: check oil level, top up as necessary

Tyres: check tread depth, condition and inflation pressure incl. spare tyre.

Exhaust system: visually inspect for leaks, damage and attachments

Brake fluid level: inspect, top up according to brake wear

Coolant: inspect for leaks and antifreeze

Lubricate door, check straps and bonnet lock

Check operation of all electrical components, displays, gauges, switches and other controls

Check operation of windshield wash/wipe system and condition of wiper blades

Check operation of headlight cleaning system if fitted

Check washer jets for satisfactory operation and ensure water bottle is topped up

Battery: inspect for leakage/insecurity and terminal condition

Brakes: visual inspection

Headlights: inspect settings and adjust as necessary

Inspect air filter element and clean housing
